About Jim Sandy, Founder of RevBoost Advisors
Jim Sandy is a published author, a Leadership Council member of the National Small Business Association (NSBA), a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Project Management Professional (PMP), and a Six Sigma Yellow Belt holder.
Jim brings his vast and diverse tapestry of experience to RevBoost Advisors, a firm he founded with a singular mission: to accelerate the growth and profitability of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
He is an active member of the Leadership Council for the NSBA where he helps guide policy and actions of the NSBA and in both Raleigh and the Nation’s Capital.
He has served small and medium sized businesses through many roles for more than 30 years. Jim has owned and operated businesses across multiple industries including consulting, real estate, construction, and marketing and served as an advisor for eight years with PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for clients in the area of Capital Projects and Business Advisory across more than 10 industries. As such, Jim possesses extensive experience advising companies from small and medium sized up to the top Fortune 100 companies.
His areas of expertise have included revenue generation strategies, risk assessment, process improvement, capital project lifecycle reviews, capital investment and working capital acquisition strategies, cashflow strategies, as well as enhancing financial and operational efficiencies. Further strengthening his portfolio, Jim has also held significant Executive Finance roles in large global organizations, mastering financial management and strategic planning.
Jim’s academic background solidifies this experience, with a Master of Science in Accounting and a BS in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and has been a licensed CPA in the state of North Carolina since 2008.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jim is also an active individual who enjoys the great outdoors. In his spare time, he loves to volunteer, giving back to the community in various ways.
